Inter-Preparatory School Track Championships (MAY 29 to 31)
We are pleased to inform you that the Mona Prep. Team placed 7th in Championships. We congratulate Mr. Locksley Anderson and the children for their hard work and thank the parents/guardians and staff for their continued support. We also wish to thank Mr. Fray Ellis for his sterling service as the Team’s Manager. The excellent support from the parent hospitality team must be highly commended as well.
END OF YEAR EXAMINATIONS
The End of Year Examinations will be administered as follows:
GRADE 3 DIAGNOSTIC TESTS
The Grade 3 Diagnostic Tests will be administered on Wednesday, June 11 and Thursday, June 12, 2014.
GRADE FOUR LITERACY & NUMERACY TESTS 2014
The Grade 4 Literacy and Numeracy Tests will be administered on Thursday, June 5 and Friday, June 6, 2014.
SPORTS AWARDS
Our student athletes will be recognised and awarded for their outstanding performance throughout the year on Friday, June 13, 2014.
PRIZEGIVING CEREMONIES
The Prizegiving Ceremonies will be held in the Church Hallcommencing at 8:30 a.m. on the following days:
Kindly note that regular scheduled classes will be held for the grades that are not participating in the Ceremonies on the abovementioned days.
GRADE 6 SCHOOL LEAVING & PRIZEGIVING CEREMONY
Our Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2014 is scheduled for Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Mona Visitors’ Lodge commencing at 5:30 p.m.
SHOWFEST
Each year, the Performing Arts students and teachers organise a concert (Showfest) to showcase the items that were presented at the JCDC’s Festival in that year. This year’s Showfest will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Louise Bennett Garden Theatre. The event is expected to commence at 5:30 p.m.
SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION
Parents/Guardians are encouraged to register their children/wards early for summer school during the first week of June, 2014. Registration forms can be collected from the office or downloaded from the School’s website using the following link.
