We are pleased to announce that Mona Prep. has advanced to the final round of this year’s Festival. The finals will be held at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.
2014 JUNIOR MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD
We are pleased to inform you that thirteen (13) of our students have advanced to the Final Round of the Junior Mathematics Olympiad. The Final Round examination will be held at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
Ancillary Staff Appreciation Day
The Ancillary Staff will be recognized for their hard work on Thursday, May 29, 2014. The Staff will be treated to a luncheon in the Church Hall at 2:00 p.m.
CRICKET – SCOTIABANK/JCA PREP SCHOOLS COMPETITION 2014
The Mona Prep. Cricket Team has advanced to the semi-final round of the competition and will play their next match on Thursday, May 22, 2014 (the opponent has not been confirmed yet). The match will be played at Kensington Cricket Club.

MOCK EXAM – GRADE FOUR LITERACY & NUMERACY TESTS 2014
The next Grade Four (Literacy and Numeracy) Mock Examination is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21, 2014. We look forward to your continued cooperation as we prepare our students to sit the Grade 4 Literacy and Numeracy Tests on Thursday, June 5and Friday, June 6, 2014.
MID TERM BREAK
Students will not attend School on Thursday, May 22 and Friday May 23, 2014 (Labour Day). Classes resume for all students on Monday, May 26, 2014.
INTER PREP TRACK & FIELD MEET
The Meet is scheduled for Thursday, May 29 to Saturday, May 31, 2014.
National Preparatory/Primary School Chess Championships
The Chess Championships will be held on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Jamaica College Auditorium. For further information, please call the Chess Instructor, Odane at 792-5554, 843-3954. In addition, please contact Geoffrey Byfield (Chess Instructor) at 857-5494 regarding Saturday training for the tournament.
