We take this opportunity to share some important updates and reminders:

SCHOOL POLICIES
We kindly remind you to review the school policies, which are accessible on our website under the Parent tab: https://www.monaprep.edu.jm/Policies. Familiarity with these policies is essential, as they provide important guidelines to ensure the smooth running of the school and the safety and well-being of all students.

STAFF UPDATE
We bid farewell to Ms. Brithney Scott, who has served diligently in the capacity of Receptionist/Secretary for the past year. We thank her for her service and wish her all the very best in her future endeavours. At the same time, we are pleased to welcome Ms. Shereka Quest, who will officially assume the post of Receptionist/Secretary on Monday, September 22, 2025.

SCHOOL SCHEDULE
Please be reminded that school begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. each day. Kindly take note of the arrival and dismissal times outlined below:

Class: K1, Arrival Time: 7:45 a.m., Dismissal Time: 1:30 p.m.
Class: K2, Arrival Time: 7:45 a.m., Dismissal Time: 2:00 p.m.
Class: K3 & Grade 1, Arrival Time: 7:30 a.m., Dismissal Time: 2:00 p.m.
Class: Grades 2-6, Arrival Time: 7:30 a.m., Dismissal Time: 2:30 p.m. (2:00 p.m. Wed.)

PICK-UP
Students who are not engaged in extracurricular activities or registered for After Care must be picked up promptly at their respective dismissal times. Please note that there is no supervision after 3:00 p.m. (all teachers leave by this time, except on Wednesdays, when they leave at 2:00 p.m.).

AFTER CARE SERVICES
After Care services run from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily and hosted in the room located beside the Vice Principal's office.
Coordinators: Ms. Susan Johnson (K2), Ms. Taikanya Lewis (K3), and Ms. Kerry-Ann Bailey (Grade 5).
Fee: $1,300 per day or $6,000 per week. Payments are to be made at the Bursar's Office.
