Subject: Birthday Party Policy

Mona Preparatory School welcomes the opportunity to celebrate with every child who wishes to recognise his/her birthday at school. However, we wish to refer everyone to the guidelines/ policy with respect to birthday celebrations.

 

APPROVED START TIME

1. Lunch Time or 1:30 p.m. - Kindergarten – Grade 1
2. Lunch Time or 2:15 p.m. - Grades 2 - 6 (except on Wednesdays 1:45 p.m.)

ITEMS THAT ARE NOT ALLOWED

1. Balloons
2. Toy Guns
3. Nuts, Pineapple (to avoid allergic reaction)

NB: Parents should speak with class teachers to approve the items for party bags.

NB: Children with food allergies should be taken into consideration.

NB: Birthday Head Ornaments should only be worn at the designated party time. Birthday buttons maybe worn at the commencement of school.
