Grades 4 – 6
Start Date: Monday, January 25, 2021
Protocol Assignment
- Each grade will be assigned one person to carry out the protocols.
Class Stations
- Grade 6 Station – At the Church Hall.
- Grade 4 and 5 Station – On opposite sides of the “picket fence” (lattice fence).
Temperature Checks
- Temperature checks will be recorded using the pre-prepared sheets with students’ names.
- In addition to the temperature checks done in the mornings, there will be a second temperature check done by the Class Teachers at 12 noon.
Orientation
- Teachers will facilitate a blended school orientation with the children.
Specialist Subjects
- Students should remain in their form rooms for all instructions, except Physical Education and Dance.
Devices
- Students from Grades 3 – 6 will access their specialist classes via the SmartTerm platform; hence, they are required to take their fully charged devices and headsets (Air Pods, headphones etc.) to School.
Mask Breaks
- Mask breaks will be given periodically or as needed.
Recreational Hour (Lunch Time)
- Students will not be allowed to go outside for the entire break period.
- The lunch period will be called “Recreational Hour”. During this time, students will be allowed to watch JIS features, documentaries and participate in virtual field trips while having lunch.
- Each group will have a timetabled 15 minutes period to go outside (a time table has been developed for this activity).
Pick-up
- Parents/Guardians are encouraged to pick-up children on time.
